Over the weekend, a man opened fire on a large group of concert-goers in Las Vegas, from his hotel room on a high floor overlooking the part of the strip where the concert was taking place. He killed at least 59 people and injured over 500 others. Not only that, but each year, 11,000 people are killed from guns in America. Meanwhile, in other countries, where guns are not as easily accessible, incidents of violent mass shootings simply do not happen nearly as frequently.
