After an act of terrorism in Charlottesville, VA, Trump took two days to formulate an insincere response to before doing an about-face a day later. Then, when a horrendous terrorist attack occurred in Barcelona days later, he wasted no time descending into his signature twitter frenzy, tweeting out some story about a general from the early 1900s who supposedly got rid of terrorism for decades using a particularly harsh method of execution.
