When Donald Trump spoke from his heart on Tuesday, he placed blame on “both sides” who were present at the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, VA over the weekend. He also came up with the name “alt-left,” accusing them of inciting just as much violence as the KKK, Nazis and Facists present at the rally (who are responsible for the actual death of a woman).

During his speech, he wondered aloud where the takedown of statues will end, citing historical figures George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.
