Back in the day this week, Ed Lover was in his second year of high school. The year was 1978, and the music scene was dominated by all-male bands. But a duo called A Taste Of Honey came in a shook things up with a little song called “Boogie Oogie Oogie,” which remains to this day one of the best-known songs from the days of disco.
