John Singleton came through to the morning show studio to chat with Monie Love about his new TV series, “Snowfall.” They reminisce about John’s curation of the soundtrack for his classic movie, Boyz In The Hood, which Monie Love had a song on. John talks about being associated with Los Angeles because of the types of movies he makes, and where he got the idea for Snowfall. He also explains what made him want to get into TV.

John talks about the epidemic of crack cocaine, and how that affected the west coast in the 80s. He also gives a little taste of the show with a breakdown of some of the characters, their separate stories, and how they are interconnected.
