Ed Lover wanted to take a second to acknowledge rapper Coolio, who rarely gets his props when it comes to monumental moments in hip-hop. But Ed notes that Coolio accomplished something a lot of rappers wish they could accomplish. He is best known for his 1995 hit “Gangsta’s Paradise,” though he achieved mainstream success over the course of three of his many albums in the 90s.
