In May 1989, “Baby Don’t Forget My Number” by Milli Vanilli entered the top 40 charts. The rap duo rose to popularity after they founded in 1988. The two gorgeous and chiseled long-haired men were put on for their gorgeous looks, and for a time made some hit records and performed for their many fans without a problem.

They even performed at the Grammys, and were awarded one themselves before a major scandal took that reputation away from them and forever tarnished their name. Their popularity was basically erased just as quickly as they gained it. Click on the audio player to hear more on this scandalous moment in hip-hop history, on the Ed Lover Show.
